CONTENT MARKETING INTERN
MAIN OBJECTIVE
To support the implementation of our current Marketing strategy.
This role requires experience in content creation and social media engagement, and reports to the ReFOCUS Marketing Manager.

PURPOSE
We are looking for a part-time Content Marketing Intern to support with the implementation of our current Marketing strategy aimed to amplify our social media presence, unify our messaging, improve our reach, and increase our fundraising potential, showcase the work of our students and to communicate the positive impact we have on a daily basis!
As a small charity, we don't have a huge budget for communications - but we do have access to inspiring stories, powerful imagery and an energetic team of colleagues and amazing groups of students. We’re looking for a motivated intern to help us make these stories and images into usable content or showcase the amazing work of our students. We’re looking for someone passionate about our cause and curious to learn about content creation. You will work closely with our marketing manager on our campaigns as well as help plan out our strategies going forward.

RESPONSIBILITY
Create reels & videos to be published on our media accounts
Create carousels and static posts to be published on our media accounts and website
Create copy to accompany or be included within the above digital content
Create content following the ReFOCUS Brand Guidelines and Tone of Voice
Engage with our community of followers
Keep our media accounts active through original and re-shared content
Support the implementation of the ReFOCUS marketing strategy
Communicate with the ReFOCUS Marketing Manager
Participation in the weekly marketing meetings
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Passion for our cause: A genuine interest in supporting our students and creators, and a strong belief in the power of education to create positive change in society.
Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to convey our mission and impact effectively.
Research Skills: Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in social media posts and promotional materials.
Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team player: Willingness to collaborate with the fundraising team and other colleagues, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Media Creation Skills- capacity to use Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Canva and internal content creation tools on social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok)
