I’m Dawoud, born 08 of June, 2004 in Afghanistan. I spent my teenage years in Iran, then emigrated to Europe when I was 16 years old. After passing Iran and Turkiye I've made a home in Athens, Greece. Here, I've started over, a new life in Europe

While learning English and Greek, I became a member of the ReFOCUS Media Labs collective here in Athens in 2021. Since starting with the basics I've developed significant skills in photography, cinematography, video editing, scriptwriting design, and filmmaking.

Since starting my photography has been professionally recognized by winning two photo challenges, as judged by established photographers. I've also been a lead editor for the past two years on the Fractured video podcast, have been on the production crew for numerous short original films, and most recentywas the Director of Photography or Yaser Taheri's latest film “The Blue Prison."
