Our first photo challenge on Light & Shadow is judged by Danish photojournalist and commercial photographer Lars Schmidt. Having previously led photography workshops with ReFOCUS on Lesvos, Lars has remained an eager ambassador for our community ever since.

We’re so happy to have Lars back with us as a judge to kick off our photo challenge initiative, and even more excited for the winners who will have a chance to be in master classes led by Lars.

LARS on IRYNA’S WORK
Iryna is one of the most artistic photographers in the challenge. The images are very true to the name of the game- “light & shadow”, and she especially allows the “shadow” to be an important part of the images. Iryna’s could hang on any wall as an art piece- signed, named and numbered by the artist!
